I don't have a question.... just a little worried about dropping our little doggy to the vets for the op! Hope it all goes well and he is not in too much pain.

Hope all goes well for Oscar today. Please give him a gentle squidge from us, when he returns :luv: :luv:

Ah bless :luv:am sure Oscar will be ok ans soon recover-always anxious wait when you leave them at the vet
-
Poor little Oscar, just lot's of love for him when you get him back as they recover pretty quickly.
-
Don't be concerned if his behaviour is a little odd this evening - a general anaesthetic can make them a bit hyper and snappy as it works it's way out of their system.
-
Aw sending you a quick hug coz you
will be worried for your little Oscar :luv:
-
:bigarmhug: for you and a cuddle for Oscar. I know how anxious you feel but I'm sure he will be fine. They are much tougher than we think. No doubt you will be collecting him very soon.

Missed this morning! No doubt Oscar's home by now and enjoying a mega dose of TLC!!
Lots of :bigarmhug: and cuddles from us too! He'll be back to getting into mischief before you know it!
Love and woofs from Jayne & Humphrey!

Hope he's OK!

Wishing Oscar a quick recovery! He will bounce back before you know it. Lots of love to you both! X

I think the pain killers are pretty effective, Bobby didn't seem too distressed after his procedure, although he definitely needed the lampshade collar to stop him licking at the wound.

Thanks everyone, the wait was painful, and the house was so quiet without him, neither of us liked it!
He is home now and was so excited to see us. The op nearly didn't happen as they had an emergency come in. Half hour after dropping him we had a call from the vets and we both looked at each other thinking the worst! They just called to say they were taking him to their other site due to the emergency patient.
They gave him a cone as he is a bit of a licker, but he really doesn't like it and keeps whimpering, breaks my heart slightly but I know it's for the best. It's those eyes and that look 👀 .... if looks could kill....! We've left it on him tonight and going to go check on him over night just to check he is ok.
I'm sure he will be back to normal soon, and up to no good.
Thanks again for all your well wishes!
