While sitting on the sofa, to prevent my beloved, yet unbelievably persistent puppy, from swinging from my hair a la The Hunchback of Notre Dame. (The bells! The bells!)
If I put it up in a hairband, he pulls the band out and eats it.
If I leave it loose, he swings from it and pulls it hard
If I yelp - often very loudly, since OUCH - he pulls harder
If I say no and feed him treats, he listens beautifully to 'no', gets down to eat the treat reward and then nips back up to carry on
If I move him away, he patiently leaps back up and resumes
If I get up and go behind one of the baby gates for a few minutes he waits beautifully until I return and then resumes.
If I prevent him from getting behind me or beside me he makes increasingly energetic leaps at my head.
My hair is apparently the best toy in the house.
If I wear a headscarf, tightly tied down, he looks extremely reproachful and goes to sleep.
Can't WAIT for him to grow out of this one!!!!!

Ah yes, the good old tabasco as conditioner trick, classic conditioning :015: :011:

What if you tied your hair in a bun?
I can't wear my hair down either since I got Lily :005:

We eat buns. Sigh.
I may try the tabasco ;)

Never had a problem with puppies attacking my hair, but the horses constantly tried to eat it. Made me seriously question my highlights, straw was not the look I was going for :005:

You had me in tears! I thought I was the only one with a hair obsessed cockerdile.
My little grabs my hair every chance she gets and pulls with all her might. She rips out my scrunchies - tying my hair back only makes her more excited. If I scream, I can actually see the expression on her face change into a little devilish smile. [emoji53] she smiles all the time. Sigh. She's so lovely (when she's sleeping!) Perhaps I will try the headscarf, thank you for the wonderful idea :)
