Winking and blinking
« on: January 20, 2012, 07:54:24 PM »
Muffin keeps on winking and blinking at me, usually when I'm talking to her or when she's happy and relaxed...  :luv:

Weird question I know, but I was wondering if the winking and blinking is a way of her trying to communicate with me like cat's would do.
When a cat winks it is said that that's their way in saying hello, or the blinking meaning they trust you. I know dog communicate with their eyes, so is it the same thing?  ;) :lol2:

I don't think there is anything wrong with her because she responds to me doing it to her also... She also seems to do it when she wants to show me love and affection. My Chocolate Lab also used to do exactly the same thing :)

My last dog (yellow Lab) used to do this too, he would even do it on command. I'd say "wink Ben" and he would wink  :luv:
