Right, im in :D .... could do with picking someones brains (gently) if thats ok

I'm in the puppy section, but would like to enter another for some more experience, I understand that I can enter in junior, maiden or novice .... but not quite sure how each of these classes is categorised, can anyone shed any light please

I think that junior is 6 months till 18 months old

oh, one more question if I may (not that I think I'll ever get there) but whats the deal with qualifying for crufts, is that only at champ shows, or is it possible from opens ?

Cheers
Phil

Maiden is probably your best bet as this class is for dogs who haven't won a class outside of puppy, Novice is won less than 3 classes outside of puppy.

Mostly champs shows for qualification however BOB at a very select few open shows does too and the odd best in show at opens.
I would say you need to be at champ shows to qualify Phil

Hi Sarah

Thanks for taking the time to explain that for me, maiden it is then :D

I thought that it was champ shows for qualification (not that im running for it), but for some reason last night I thought you could do it from collecting lots of tickets from opens ... must be the sun getting to me  :005:

Anyone else going to this show ?

Cheers
Phil

Hopefully there with my baby, no doubt there will be lots of puppies given that the puppy classes are so strong at the moment!!
