On Friday we had to say goodbye to Fern
She was 13 years old, deaf, had lumps and bumps and her back legs kept giving out - I couldn't put her through any more - her eyes on Thursday evening told us she had enough, she had stopped eating - she deteriorated fast on Thursday and was only a shell of what she had been a coupe of days before
The goodbye was long as her veins were collapsing
This weekend has been so hard - I kept looking for her and Rhum is not fairing any better, he has become a complete limpet to me
