I was unloading a bag of horsefood to take down to the stables this morning and Coop and co. were happily leaping round and waiting to be on their way with me. Next thing, Coop is gone in the blink of an eye, and I can hear the guineafowl chattering somewhere in the bottom field. So... I start my running banshee imitation and then I suddenly realised he hadn't had his breakfast. On the way back from the stables every morning I tell him to forget the birds, let's go have BREAKFAST! So I stopped screeching his name and started calling "breakfast". Well blow me down, he came back! He ran and waited at the kitchen door and refused to come and feed Rus with me until he'd had his BREAKFAST. What would I do without my little hairy monster, he really keeps me on my toes!
