Thornit ear powder has been used by Cocker owners & breeders for many years to prevent ear trouble developing & to treat ear trouble etc once it has started. It is also suitable for many other breeds, as well as cats & rabbits. This is not a veterinary product so don't ask your vet for it! Thornit is available direct from it's maker, Miss Bett, details below, or from online suppliers like Dog Health (http://www.doghealth.co.uk/products/thornit)

With Thornit, a little powder goes a long way & a small bottle will last a long time, making it very economical as well as effective. If using Thornit on a regular basis to prevent problems, many owners find it is more effective if the ears are cleaned & then dried first before putting the powder in. Ear cleaners such as Epiotic can be obtained from your vet or online from companies such as Canine Chemists (http://www.hyperdrug.co.uk)

I can endorse this, we purchased a bottle of Thornit from South Staffs Dog Training, never had a problem since and it has lasted 9 months, we ran out yesterday.

I use Thornit now too and it's brilliant, it's the only thing that has stopped my old cavalier's recurring ear infections.

I get mine from Amazon nowadays - a small bottle goes a long way. Still only on my second bottle and Coco is 9 this year :D
