Just back from the vet :(

Blue has had swollen glands for about a week.  I thought as in humans they would go back down after a few days.  They seemed larger than yesterday so phoned the vet and got her in straight away.

He checked her over and all of her lymph nodes are swollen, the vet is pretty sure it is cancer......

She goes in for a biopsy on Tuesday to see how far advanced it is, and then we have to speak about treatment.

I can't stop crying.  She is 11 now, and has a great life, but she is my baby girl and I love her so much.

I just want to spoil her so much lol,  think we are going to go to the beach tmrw.

Have got my husband here with me, and have told my folks.  Their oldest dog died last year (cocker), so they know the score.

Go to the beach, and enjoy your time together.

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that :( If it does turn out to be malignant, just remember that there are treatment options for this specific form of cancer that can give good results, so don't give up hope. Sending big hugs yours and Blue's way.

I'm sorry.

Take it a day at a time until you know what you are dealing with. Enjoy your days together and remember, Blue has no idea so she will just carry on with her life. It is harder for you  :bigarmhug:
