Thanks everyone,
Bellas fine completely unfazed by it all, I'm dreading it though.
We've been told she'll have to have a lampshade for 2weeks, we're supposed to be away too. Not sure how you do beach walks with a active dog wearing a lampshade

how about a comfy cone or a comfy collor or kong cloud collar?  Not sure if the comfy collar or kong cloud would stop her scratching but the comfy cone may?

Bless her  :luv:

Haematoma was drained 4 times in the end still full again when  I took her to the vets this morning.

Anyway, shes having her op, im waiting for the vets to ring me :-(

I bought a comfy cone for night time. I also bought a snood off eBay thought it might help keep sand out of her ears, don't think she's going to like it though

Fingers crossed that everything goes well today and sorts the problem out for good :bigarmhug:

I bought a comfy cone for William last year when he had his eyelid/eyelash surgery and it was so much better than the plastic cone given out by the vet. I removed a couple of the stiffeners and turned the cone back on itself a bit under his chin so that he could eat, drink and sleep more comfortably. The only downside was that he discovered he could use it on walks to shovel up even larger than usual quantities of horse poo to snack on :005:. Luckily, the comfy cone is easy to clean.

Charlie has a snood,  He doesn't like it,  but if you push it off his head ( I've more like around his neck like a scarf,  he's ok with it).

Not long now until she's home :)
My beautiful little boy Charlie :)

Bella had her op yesterday, didn't pick her up until 6.30pm sge was in a bit of a sorry state, she slept with me last night needless to say didn't get much sleep. She's better today her lively self apart from her lampshade and she's not allowed any walks until tomorrow

Can't really see but the insides a bit if a mess, its an open wound to allow drainage

Lots of stitches

At least I have one nice ear
