Poor little Bella. She looks very sorry for herself, especially in the cone. Hope the operation has finally sorted the problem. Sending cyber cuddles to the pair of you.  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: Diana

Poor baby :'( Glad the op went well, hope she'll be well real soon :luv: :luv:
Give her  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: from me.

Elmo had a few tiny lumps removed today and a few routine procedures with great succes, so I know how worried you must feel :luv: I was a wreck till I got to the vet.

:cool4: yay Bellas poo'd, 2 days without a poo, just taken her for a little walk, her first since the op, she was really reluctant which is unlike her and didn't enjoy it much, so despite advice let her off lead, she only went a couple of yards ahead and found herself some smelly grass and pooped, so pleased. Back on lead and home.

For some reason they've shaved her neck and the lampshade and collar are rubbing on it so spent the afternoon making a fleece collar which she's now wearing.

Been for check up today, alls looking well

Well what a two weeks, we went up to Northumberland for a week, not the best week we've had, first few dats Bella was generally not very well, if it wasn't for the fact we'd both had a drink on Tuesday evening we'd of come home, as it was Bella was a bit brighter next day so we stayed.
Generally though it was a sunny week and she struggled with the heat, the lampshade was a bit like having her head in a greenhouse. She refused to walk I had to pick her up, refused to go even for wee's again I had to carry her. The week did get better but we did come home earlier than intended.

This week she's liked being in the garden and on walks tried to play but hindered by the lampshade. As she's got better the lampshade has become a lethal weapon I'm surprised its still intact.

Been vets today, ear quite thick compared to other one and her wound is still weeping, stitches are out, but told wound could possibly split open, on prednisalone for another two weeks, lampshade to stay on at least  another week.

She stinks, needs a good scrub, hair on side of face hard and crusty, we tried cleaning but she was ear flapping, etc which we don't want so stopped doing it.

Anyway fingers crossed that this ear heals and doesn't split
