thank everyone for your get well wishes & hugs for Ellie , Its been a long day , heard from Davies twice today, to say that the op went well, quite a lot of damage to the disc involved , tonight she has come around, eaten and been out for a pee with the aid of a sling. they don't expect to see much change for a couple of days, will update me again late morning tomorrow,
I never saw this coming, knew that something was not quite right

So pleased everything went well for Ellie.

Everything crossed that her recovery, albeit a long one, will go as well for her.

Sending positive healing thoughts and hugs for both of you.  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

Ellie is comfortable & eating well today and even went outside for a wee with harness support, showing signs that she is placing her feet. Haven't been able to go and see her as only 24h post op, she does get over excited when she see's us all.
As soon as she can travel she will be brought back to Wendover heights Vets till she can come home.
Thank you for all you kind words.

Wiggins is under Wendover Heights too, they are lovelyand several of the nurses have cockers themselves - I'm sure they'll make a huge fuss of Ellie when she arrives. Hope she's on the mend soon, must be so upsetting for you. x
