Advocate flea treatment
« on: March 23, 2014, 09:53:34 AM »
I've been trying to find this online but the searches return 'advantage' rather than advocate. Is this the same product but with a different name or is it a different product altogether? If it's different, does anyone know of a site where I can order Advocate?

Many thanks

Hi. Two different types. Vetuk.co.uk have some advocate and I think there are other sites too.

I searched "advocate flea treatment" and made sure that my spell checker didn't change it for me  ;) quite a few came up. This one seems reasonableish?

You do need a vets prescription to order advocate on line though.

Thanks all. Will check out those links. I just got back from pets at home vet who refused to sell them to me as my dogs are not registered there so I guess there must be some restriction.

Frontline does nothing to prevent them any more so I need to switch.

The vet said that it's become ineffective here and with my girls getting fleas for the first time in 7 years, I have to try something else.

People laugh at me because I'm different, but I laugh at them because they are all the same.

Def wouldnt buy from them now knowing they ship from outside the E.U there is no way of telling if the products are counterfit.

I was using frontline. I'll ask about the combo when I go to the vets tomorrow.
