Jamie has a collar and a harness, i use the collar and lead for everyday 'boring' walks or walks where he will be let off lead in a secure area  and the harness i use when i need to use his flexi lead as i knew the dangers of attaching a flexi to a collar and 'snapping' a dogs neck backwards however i didn't know that using a collar and lead could result in a damaged calcified spine.
i'm glad your boy is improving and hope you had a good christmas!

He's home!

He can stand and he can walk....although he looks a little drunk.  The vet says, all going well, he should walk properly in 2 months and be fully recovered in 6 months.  We use a harness at the front and an old scarf at the back to support him although already sometimes he doesn't need support.  And we give him doggy physio 4 times a day.  He gets a little better everyday.

Through all this he has wagged his tail, tried to lick people and just been a little star.

So glad for you all, I think the tail wagging is so important, it not only cheats them up but us also :D
