Its amazing how much they become part of your family and just how they wriggle their way into your heart  :luv: :luv:

Well after a night of no sleep for me and plenty for Teal  she is brighter this morning we have just returned from the vets where Teal had another scan which was pronounced good, her temp is back to normal and as I type this Devil dog is laying on her bed barking at some imagined villain in her street. We don't have to go back to the vets until Saturday. Now I have to do the impossible and keep her from running climbing and jumping for a few weeks.

Thank you all for your support it really helps to talk to folks who understand how attached we are to our pups.

Phew!!! Thats brilliant news!! :clapping::clapping:  am so pleased for you! I don't know what your view is on homeopathic treaments, I realize its not everyone's cup of tea, but we gave our previous dog Arnica immediately after a huge op that he had and even our vet was surprised at the speed he picked up.
Lots of good wishes from us all here and hope, (probably in vain ;) ) that Teal's learned a lesson!!!

So glad Teal is on the mend. We had a Border Collie who did the same as Teal on more than one occasion. She would eat everything in sight. Leaves, sticks, paper, fluff etc etc. It. Seemed like she was trying to clear something in her throat. She would cough and gag.Luckily no surgery was needed but we learned to tie her up when it happened until the episode was over. Sometimes it would go on for hours and was distressing.

I'm glad to say she lived a long happy life despite this.

Good luck to Teal. Speedy recovery.

I don't know how I have missed this. I'm so sorry you and Teal had to go through such a terrible time and so happy that she seems to be on the mend.
Good luck trying to keep her quiet, I don't envy you that.
