Well back at the vets again today. Steve thinks its healing well in parts but she's now got uveitus which we can't treat as it contraindicates the healing of the ulcer and would slow that down (basically her uvea is swollen which means either that was punctured or the whole eye is just reacting). He wants to see me on wednesday (trying to be thorough as he feels eyes need monitoring very carefully) plus he's given her some more pain killers as we fell she might benefit from them.

Was hoping to go off and do loads of long walks over Easter but may just have to confine them to a field and the chuckitt for now, or just take Wilf out (which doesn't seem fair really).

Poor Ruby, she isn't having a good time of it at the moment is she  :-\

You have a great vet, by the sounds of it, so with some of healing hands from the vet, and lots of mummy's luurve, I'm sure she will be as right as rain in no time  ;)

Her confidence is back but Wilf is taking advantage and always gets the 1st chuckitt ball which he never did before. At the vet's she did her usual bum shuffle and then sit to attention wagging her tail against the floor but no one in the waiting room was interested (non dog people I think) (its so sweet when she does that as she's not in your face but you can see all that cocker love bubbling away waiting to explode in cocker snogs, and she doesn't push it), apart from the vet nurse of course.

The peke is in the pound so its quiet for now. Others have said that their dogs have been freaked out by this dog

Poor Roobs - I'm sorry,  I've just been catching up - didn't realise she was still poorly.

Don't know how the people in the Vets could resist her - some people are just made of stone !! Milly gets a really hurt look on her face when people don't take any notice of her - she can't quite make out how they don't think she's adorable  :luv:

I really hope things improve for Roobs - I'm sure they will as you sound like you have a lovely Vet.

Keep us updated  :luv:

Poor little girly, I've only just seen this thread as I don't normally look at the "Health" forum.  I hope her eye is getting better & she's feeling more like her normal self now
