Oh bless him. I just took him up the road for a wee (he won't wee or poo in our garden now!) and he kept stopping. He's obviously in pain from his back end.

Now we are home (no wee or poo) and he's whining a bit. I am going to try to settle him b sitting with him for a bit, but if he is in pain I will ring the vets.

Does anyone know if you can give Rimadyl on top of the Metacam? I won't do it without asking but don't want to appear too stupid.

Sorry I haven't sent good luck wishes, I've only just caught up with this now. I would ring the vets with regard to the Rimadyl & Metacam, there might be contraindications.

Hope you manage to make yourself comfortable  ;) soon Buddy, and that it won't belong before 'Buddy No' returns :bigarmhug:

We had a pretty good night. I slept on a chair bed on the floor with him on his bed beside me. I woke a couple of times and found he'd moved a bit but obviously didn't make much fuss or I would have heard him

This morning he ate well and the big news is that he has peed at last!!!! I was getting a bit worried there.

Physically he's doing ok, but I think my poor wuss is deeply emotionally traumatised! Lots of emergency essence needed I think.

Glad he has perked up a bit.  Sure he will be back to his old self in no time.  :luv:

And remember what they say, try not to mollycoddle him too much or he might just get a bit too used to it!  :shades: :005:

Get well soon Bud.  :-*
