Good news!  Glad shes not too hurt! 

I used to put Rosie out in the garden during meal times because she was a big pain, then let her in for the scraps as a reward for being a good girl!  Charley got put in his crate so he could glare and drool over our food!

That's good news, and just as good to find that I now have a good reason for Buddy's knotty bits behind his ears> (Actually, that's a joke, I cut them out today!)

I am sure she will forgive you for the burns, but I doubt she will ever forgive you for locking her out of the kitchen when there's food about!

glad she is on the mend  just a tip - when the burn is healed if you have any hair loss/scarring use bio oil - it is very good and will encourage the hair growth nicely  Have done the same thing with Dax (after a dog attack when the hair was pulled out of his face at the root and damaged the skin quite badly - now all nicely healed with hair growing back - I feel sure bio oil has made a difference  )
