A similar thing happened with our last Springer when she had a mammary strip, they took her in and re-operated cleaned it up, re-stitched her and she was absolutely fine, healed very quickly second time too.

I am sure she will be fine, but I do know how worried you must be.  Thinking of you today and I hope everything goes well for Cookie.  :luv: Big hugs to you both.  :-*

Sorry to hear about poor cookie, I sympathise as we had problems when Bella was spayed as her stitches broke down and she ended up having to have a 3hr emergency op to put it right, it was awful and quite scary. She recovered really well though in the end.

I hope this time they manage to get to the root of the problem and sort your little girl out.
