Thank you for all the good wishes, he's still looking really sorry for himself
I bandaged him up this morning so that he couldn't lick the foot, by lunchtime when I came home, it had bled a fair amount and he didn't want to walk so I changed over to the big collar so some air could get to his foot and not his tongue but he went outside, plonked himself down and wouldn't go any further till I took the flaming thing off.
I've just taken the other two out for a run and left a sock on him which was soaked in blood when I got back.
I'm hoping that the blood is because the seeds pushed out, it's a good clear red
Vets appointment at 5pm so will update after I've seen them.
Why does it always happen to Jasper, he can give the most sorrowful face of the three when there isn't anything wrong and so you can imagine how he's looking at the moment
