I have never understood what everyone meant about grass seeds as I had never seen one.  Until the other day when Ellie was covered in them, I spent ages picking them off her.  Gave OH a lesson is what they looked like and how important it was to get her to the Vets if he thought one had gone in her somewhere, particularly her ear.  Think I got through!

Hope everything goes well for Jasper tomorrow, will be thinking of him.

From one orange friend to another, hope you are on the mend.  Muppet had one in her ear two weeks ago, first time for us too.  I quck trip to the vets and £93 later all was well!

Unfortunately another test yesterday also revealed that there is a further deterioration in his right eye tear production taking us a step closer to medication for life  :'( His tear production is now down to 13.

He's only 4 so could mean a long time to preserve his sight.  BUT I do know that we're lucky it isn't a life threatening illness unlike others here and for that I'm grateful.

The Metacam has wore off this morning and he can't have breakfast so one sad dog this morning  :shades:
