As if we don't have enough going on with two sick dogs (Jarvis and George Collie) Dale has whacked his head and now has one semi-paralysed eyelid and the other looks to be trying to join in as a matching pair. I thought he may have stunned the nerve that controls the eyelid but as the other eye is also half closed I suspect he may be concussed.
I was carrying the dogs dinner dishes through the dining room to the conservatory and Dale was doing his customary travelling pirouette (where he turns his body away from me but keeps his head fixed on me looking hard over his shoulder then whips his head around to look over the other shoulder before completing the pirouette) when he smacked his head on either a dining chair or the table leg, or even both. I didn't see him do it I just heard the thud and the scream.
He's spending a sleepy evening on the sofa but when he does wake up he looks like a flippin' pirate.
