healing thoughts for Coda plz

Hi all. Just to let everyone know that my poor little Coda is in the vetinary hospital tonight! We had a lovely afternoon with her pal Riley at the park but on way back to the car I noticed she was limping. By the time we got home she was crying with the pain and wouldn't let us look at it! We rushed her to the emergancy vet who have just called to say her front right shoulder is dislocated! My poor little angel was being sooo brave too. Will keep you updated once I hear more.

Quick update from vet!   Managed to pop it back ok but are worried as it feels very loose :-\.  They think there is a fair bit of ligament/soft tissue damage and that she may require surgery.  My poor lamb! I can't believe this has happened just running about the grass. I feel like such a bad owner :'(!  Will hopefully know more by the morning and will update then. Thank you all for you're kind thoughts - I'm sure they're helping Coda and I know they're helping me!

Hope Coda is on the mend soon  Healing thoughts little one.   These things happen, and dogs will be dogs.    I am sure you must be worried about her, it sounds like she is in safe hands.

Jeff dislocated his hip at about 16 weeks just playing with Annie in the lounge so it's easily done. It's horrid having to confine them as puppies though  :-\ I hope Coda's injury responds well to treatment  :luv:

Oh bless her, sounds very painful  :'(  Don't beat yourself up tho, as others have said, these things happen, nothing you could've done to stop that.... Hopefully it will respond better than they hope to the treatment and surgery won't be necessary.
