Title: "Certifect" flea/tick treatment

Not sure if this is the right board or if it should be in Health........I have just been recommended by my vet to try "Certifect". Thought it sounded interesting, so came home and looked it up on the web. To say I was horrified by some of the health issues (seemingly) caused to dogs is an understatement! Larger or older dogs seem to be affected the most, but I was wondering if any of you out there had heard of this product or used it and what were your thoughts/ experiences?

I've heard of it and read a few horror stories. Personally I wouldn't use it.
