Does anyone give salmon oil

Read today that this is good for a healthy coat and as Frankie's coat is not that good at the moment since he started the steroids/antibiotics I wondered if this might help.  Also though it might be good for Louis as his coat very dry since he had his lump removed 3weeks ago.

I'm not much help but i use Yumega plus on Tilly and her coat is amazing, when ever someone pets her their first comment is about how soft and silky her coat is.

Lots of people on here use salmon oil - me included - definitely makes a difference to their coats. If you type salmon oil into the search box above from the home page you will get lots of help on the matter

yes... there was a subject on here a few weeks ago about making sure if giving salmon oil you also gave vit e....Yumega has it all in so no need to worry about how much of each..

I will have a look,at the threads, I didn't realise you had to give vitamin E along with the salmon oil ..

I give riley kronch salmon oil. No need to give vit e as it contains it in the oil. His coat is fab but also his food eden helps with the coat.

OH had already ordered the salmon oil (SOS salmon oil from fish4dogs) so will try that now it's on it's way, how much vitamin E do I need to give each day along with the salmon oil, does it come in capsules and where is best place to get it

My guys get salmon oil (and those that can't have that due to allegies get coconut oil). I use the Kronch one too.

Mine have Nature's Help Omega-3 Deluxe Fish Oil, which has natural tocopherols (Vitamin E) in it, so I don't add Vitamin E. Also, vitamin E occurs naturally in some raw meats so I think (hope) mine get enough natural Vitamin E in their raw diet.

Rileys kibble has vitamin e added to it  so its worth checking too.

Pearl has 2 x cod liver oil tablets at meal times - she loves them.  I did buy some Kronch oil but I think she prefers the tablets - it was really good though and made her coat beautiful.  I've just changed her diet so may put her back on Kronch if I notice a difference in her coat
