Zak and 9 Grass Seeds!

Just got home from the vets with Zak.
We've been away for a mid week break, came home last night, grooming Zak this morning and found a sore spot under his right front armpit
On closer inspection i could feel, and see, the dreaded grass seeds in a very red sore area.
We've been checking after every walk but they still managed to get in there
Managed to cut away some of the hair and removed 5 grass seeds.
Couldn't tell if there were anymore and Zak was obviously getting upset.
Rang the vets and she said to bring him in straight away.
She cut away some more hair and removed another 4 seeds, 1 which was quite deeply embedded
My poor little lad was soooo good. only had one little grumble.
He's now home and we have some cream to help the soreness. vet doesn't think there's any more but we have to keep an eye on it and take him back if we're at all worried.
I HATE those grass seeds

Zak certainly was a brave boy, and yes he is being spoiled rotten
His armpit looks much better this morning, most of the soreness seems to have gone.
Can feel a very small lump but its probably just a bit of swelling around the removal site. will keep an eye on it tho.
Will be soooo pleased when all these  grass seeds have disappeared!
