**Urgent eye drops questions**
« on: May 11, 2012, 10:24:15 PM »
Has anyone used Chloramphenicol eye ointment?? We have got some today from the vets but it seems too thick to go into Indie's eye. Should it be quite a thick liquid???

It must be hard with a real wriggly wart:) The easiest way to do it is to hold the tube between thumb and index finger of your right hand(if you're right handed) and with your left hand open up the eye. Then from above you run a line of it into the lower eye/eyelid and release. It will disperse quite quickly. The ointment is meant to be quite gooey so it sounds fine to me :) Hope she's back to normal soon :)
