:luv: Wisp has just arrived with NESSR,,and we will update more details next week,,once we know whats what,,with him.. he was handed in due to not getting on with the older dog in the house

All I can say - is that he is totally stunning - and that is coming from a show cocker lover. Mind you, I am becoming more and more swayed towards the workers. :luv: :luv:

you will have your favourite colours one day I am sure of that. As for the least favourite colour thing, I own one of my least favourite colour as well. That's just how it goes with rescues you fall madly in love with the dog :luv:

besides, he's too close to Jarv in age and I think he'll be snapped up very quickly by a family where both 'parents' want a dog :luv:

Latest update from NESSR
Wisp is a much loved boy who is only with NESSR as he didn't get on with the other male dog in the household. Wisp is a lovely lad who has settled in really well here with my dogs. He is very loving & likes nothing more than to curl up on your knee on an evening. He is an active boy who has had some basic training & will walk nicely on the lead when he concentrates, he has also competed in some agility & jumps for fun so a well fenced garden is a must. His recall isn't too bad though he does like to hunt and can get a little distracted sometimes, he is also quite interested in birds. He loves to chase a ball but can loose interest after a while & doesn't always bring it back (he competed in agility with an orange squeaky ball which he is quite focused on) soft toys don't tend to last long as Wisp enjoys pulling them apart. He can be a bit vocal when he gets excited during play. He loves his food & takes treats quite happily . He is very interested in gunshot/fireworks & tries to go towards the noise. Wisp is crate trained & is quite happy to sleep in one at night.
Wisp is a cracking lad & a joy to have around & once he bonds with you is very loving, he has not lived with cats & may possibly be OK with older children. He gets on well with other dogs but would probably be beter homed with bitches

Me too....Unfortunately we agreed between us only 2...I would take the risk and smuggle him in anyway knowing full well Dave would fall in love on sight but we already have Glen so he wouldna settle anyway.....Glen is very feminine though :005: :005:

Wisp is a lovely lad & is doing really well, He is having a great time running around with my lot, he gets on great with the girls, playing chase with Jems & tuggy with Rox & is very tolerant of Sammy playing around all the time & ragging him though he has started to push his luck a bit with Jake which has resulted in a couple of circling sessions, a firm word will put paid to this but I really think Wisp would be better homed with a girl/girls & no male dogs. He is very loving & spends most of his time on your knee or layed across your feet, he absolutely loves jumping the jumps in the paddock & does a brilliant weave, loves to dig & get covered in mud & sticky buds & dosent mind when you have to spend hours teasing them all out and as you can see above likes to get wet too.

I notice wisp has done some agility, has he been advertised on agility.net they also have a rescue board too. alot of agility poeple have more than one dog too so may suit wisp's needs. He may be on there but never noticed his advert yet. ;)

He is beautiful. I'm over in that area a lot so I will keep an eye out for him! hopefully he hasn't gone too far away! Don't see many choccy roans so he will be obvious!
