:(

Why is it that a Many Tears thread has the same effect as a "Wet Paint" sign.  I know I shouldnt, but I do anyway, and then end up really regretting it.

Youre safe at the bridge now wee girl.  Have fun chasing the butterflies xxxxx

Hi,
I was speaking to Sylvia earlier today, and I passed on to her the fact that she is a hero at COL. I said that all the cockers she has are always on the site, and there was almost a race to put them up.
She asked me to specially thank all the people who posted in our rescue pages for her, and everyone else that helped her in some way.
She told me about the little dead cocker, and that there were 6 new dogs which arrived today.
All strength to Sylvia!!!!!
Mary P

Please help me raise £1000 for MAGGIE'S CENTRES
Thanks!

I couldn't sleep last night after reading that news  :(  :(

We havent got much money but were going to try and help more !
Bailey has some toys and grooming brushes we dont use so there going down and I`ve sent an Email to all the companies I work with to try and get some donations.
One of my work mates is "buying a life" for his daughters birthday

We should really try and think of some more money raiseing ideas.....

I was thinking about a COL ebay'in jumble sale with all proceeds going to Many Tears ?
I have some ideas about how to arrange it but wont go into the details yet - Would like to know if yu guys think its a good idea first ?

"We should really try and think of some more money raising ideas..."

In the past I've done "Pet Portraits" to raise funds for Many Tears and Springer Rescue, usually in the form of an auction and then the highest bidder gets a portrait (in pastel) from a photo.

I'm more than willing to do this on here if people are interested, and the moderators don't mind, of course.
Here are some which I prepared earlier!! :D

Thats really generous of you !!

I think we could really do something here, i`m going to pick up a load of stuff the mother-in-law doesn't want so hopefully that might fetch a bit too.

Ill Pm mods to discuss, see if we can get the ball rolling this weekend. I Think Sylvia really needs all the help she can get atm.

Thanks for the suggestions :) We will discuss this and get back to you as soon as possible. The one thing that does occur to me is the singling out of one rescue for fundraising when all the other small rescues work really hard and are also always desperate for funds/volunteers etc. Anyway, leave it with us for now :)
