penny can i just ask if the food guarding was  problem when you had him.its just that we have elliott who lets you take anything from him including food .thanks from paula.

Not really but then I always feed fosters separately from my two when they 1st arrive anyway so not enough time to see that. He was food obsessed though and being taller than my two kept trying to see what he could get off kitchen counters all the time.

He really is a dog you need to spend time training though in everything (and separately from your own dog) --- when they describe him as giddy that is how he is (he couldn't sit still for two seconds unless I gave him a chew or food). Whoever takes him on will get the rewards if they go out of their way to spend time on him (he really has had no training at all in all his 18 months, or thats the impression he gives).
