Just seen your news - hope everything is much better now.  I'm sure it won't be long before Doodle is part of your family.  I know how it feels waiting - sooo exciting.  Good luck   :D :D :D

 Mike's doing ok, still in hospital, Flo keeps lying on his shoes with her nose INSIDE one of them ! :005: ::)

Just an update on Doodle...

What a fantastic little fella. He is so affectionate and cuddly, he’s just like a big teddy bear.

He is very polite and well behaved, doesn’t bark or chew (Unless someone comes to the door) He has been on a few walks now and he has been fantastic on and off lead, he does have a harness which he doesn’t mind at all. He settles really well at night and curls up in his basket.

He is a bit on the tubby side so were being very careful with what he eats to help start his weight loss.

He is so excited in the mornings when you open the door, his little smiling face and long wagging tail are wonderful.

We are to be fair having some trouble with him with regards to Bailey, it seems Doodle wants to be top dog and has been trying to mount Bailey although after being told no he does stop and it is becoming less frequent now. But he is still grumbling a bit at both Bailey and Millie. We’re hoping this will calm down too once he feels a bit more secure. I do think he will be able to be re-homed with another dog but we should know by the end of the week when hopefully he will have settled down.

All in all he is a little star and we love him already.

Hi Jann  only just seen this today as I didn't get my home PC sorted   >:(  and not too happy.  But I hope Mike returns home soon and that you are coping in the meantime.  Not sure about Flo's choice of "comforter" though!  :D

Photos of Doodle look great if not a bit messy but I expect they all look like that when it's wet.  :005:

Doodle is still looking for his forever home. We would like to rehome him on his own if possible but he might be able to go with a girly. We would like to rehome asap before he gets too settled as he does get stressed.

Please contact us for more details of this fantastic chap. He really is a star and will make someone very happy.

 ;) Hi Yes, I was just about to post.

We went to meet Doodle on Sunday with Flo, I have to say he is the most fantastic little dog and I fell in love with him,he's a real people dog, but Flo went off for a lovely run over the fields with him and he is every good thing  Jim has said about him and more.

However we have decided purely for personal reasons, absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any fault in Doodle that the time is not right for us to take on another dog. (  Mike's health is not good)

I am very upset, but I realise that it would not be right for Doodle. I know that there is a wonderful home waiting for him and whoever gets him will be very lucky.

Susie, you would love him ?  :luv:  ;)

Ooooh he does look a real cutie and he has got a loverly waggerly tail, but unfortunately I have a cat and he doesn't get on with them.   :-\  Such a shame!  Hope Mike is improving.  Is he home yet?

Aw poor Doodle! He is lovely! Even if the oh would let me have another cocker so soon we've got 5 cats as well so no good!  :'( Hope he finds his forever home soon!

 :D Susie, Pinkice has a male dog so unfortunately no :-\  He really is a super dog and if things were a bit better here and more settled we would have given him a try, however I really think he would be happiest as an only dog.  ;)

Mike is out of hospital, but other ongoing health probs have come to a head so ........ :-\  Thanks for asking Jann :luv:
