I have been patiently watching this thread and am amazed he is still awaiting a forever home!!  He looks like such a lovely dog!

I have sent an email to the rescuers, offering a home (although we weren't going to start looking for a dog seriously until September).

We can offer:
1. A loving home
2. Famiy of 2 adults and 2 children (11 and 3 years)
3. Fully enclosed rear garden (6 foot wall/fence surround)
4. Fields/park within a couple of minutes walk.

However, my husband and I do work.  I work part-time and would be out from 8.30 until 12.15 then again from 12.45 until 3.00pm.  Weekends are free so long walks would be on the agenda!  We have no experience of dogs recently, but were both raised with dogs as part of the family.  My parents still breed labs and would be on hand to offer kennels during any holidays (I wish!) that we may plan.

I am waiting to hear back from them.

Any news on this lovely fellow, Penny?  I can't believe he's still here - friendly, healthy, no issues, loves dogs and a really gorgeous looker.  It's just not sense that such a dear boy should be in kennels - he must be a sure fire bet for any active family looking for new dogpal.

Guess who's coming to play with my dogs? ;)

If all goes well, Snoop doggy dog will be coming to mine this weekend. Only to foster (yeah, right!!), or until my OH gives in :005:.

Hopefully he will get on ok with my crew.

Will update later.
