He looks completely scrummy and hopefully will fit in and win your OH over...

If not, hopefully the right family are round the corner

I am so jealous I would love to have taken this boy as he has the same cheeky wee face my working cocker Charlie has.  But I couldnt take the chance of charlie trying to keep up with him and be top dog with his spinal issues.  I really hope all goes well as he is a beautifull boy.

If anyone is travelling anywhere along the route Cardiff to Swindon or beyond (on friday or sunday) --- we need transport to get Snoopy to meet up with Ali ;)

Hello all,

Just thought i'd let you know that Snoops arrived ok  :D.  Nearly didn't make it as poor Kirsty had a bit of a car emergency, and then her OH and i nearly missed each other about 3 times, but everything got sorted out and he's here with us now (Snoopy, not Kirstys OH!).
Brilliant traveller, not a peep out of him even in the traffic jams on the M4, UNTIL i put Aerosmith on the CD, woo-woo-woo he went, obviously NOT a rock fan!!
Met my lot ok, few grumbles, but none from him, bless!
Gave him a wash, let him in the garden, he jumped in the pond, gave him another wash!!

He's following me EVERYWHERE, in case i sneak out without him, should be fun tonight when we go to bed.  Anyway, will set to work on my OH tonight and hopefully Snoops will bring him round. ;)

First proper walk with him in the morning, he could do with losing a bit of weight, ok rather a lot of weight........

Pictures soonest.

Bye for now - Ali and Snoopy

So Glad snoops arrived nearly on schedule. He is such a lovley boy.  I would love to see more pictures (hint Hint) of him as he could be my charlie's double right down to the cheeky grin, same age as well.

Hello all,

Good news and Bad news :'(

Bad news first (gets it out of the way).....
While Snoops and i were having a tickle my tummy session this morning, i noticed that when he opened his mouth, he had a big lump at the back of it.  Spoke to Kirsty and told her and then managed to get him into my own vets for a look. They  gave him a once over (MOT!) and said that although he was a bit overweight (He weighs 18.5kgs!!!!), he was a lovley old thing, BUT the lump in his mouth definitely needs sorting out. It can be either a benign neoplasm (growth), or possibly a more sinister type of cancer. Its not really bothering him at present, it makes him drool a bit but i don't know if that is just him.  My lovely vet has said that she will sort me out a quote for surgery/histology - i'll let you know how it goes.

Glad thats out of the way - took some pics this morning- bad bad quality i know but i'll pop some more on later....

Hope these come out ok.

Ali and Snoops :D

Awww he is lovely  :luv:  I offered to foster him a while back as well but I'm too far away  :'(  but I'm really glad he's now with you  :D

That's not good news about the lump though  :-\  I really hope it turns out to be nothing serious, please keep us posted Ali.
