Hope the lump isn't too serious - its not stopping him smiling though is it? I think he is the happiest boy I have ever seen  :luv:

Best of luck Snoops old man
way to go Ali.
Is the kirsty you refer to a vet?
The vet who saved my Bayley from being PTS was called Kirsty I wonder if they could be one and the same?

Yes, as Ali says Kirsty is actually the Chair of Four Paws (and founder)

Just thought that i'd let everyone know that Snoopy is scheduled for surgery tomorrow (Friday).

IF it turns out to be good news (Fingers and toes crossed please!), there is a lovely new home already lined up for him.  The lady in question already has a nice lab that needs a friend, they live in the country and have everything he could wish for. He has fitted in very well with my lot, but i wouldn't stand in his way of finding the perfect home ( :'().

However, IF the news is not so good, then depending on what his prognosis is, he may stay with me.

Either way, whatever the outcome, he won't be going back into kennels and he will be in a nice home, which is the main thing.

He had his first 'silly five minutes' yesterday, it was quite a sight to see - a bionic black furry womble doing the wall of death round my lounge - my own dogs were not sure what to do  :005:

Anyway, i'll keep you informed of progress.

Thanks for the kind thought.

Will close this thread for now and reopen when we know more --- plus am sure we would love to follow Snoopy's progress elsewhere on the board

Fingers crossed for tomorrow
