Peggy Sue is a 6 year old ex breeding cocker spaniel bitch. She is very quiet, gentle and used to other dogs . She has a wonderful nature and would just love to be someone's special friend. She may well be happiest in a home with another dog.

Why is this little lady still at MT, do you think?      Her report card from her fosterer gives her ten out of ten and she sounds such a sweetie.  Surely her age can't be against her at 6?  It would only be a guess anyway as it's really difficult to tell with the puppy-farmed bitches as they all tend to need dentals.

Its amazing how many who aren't ex-PF dogs who need dentals as well

Yes - point taken.   But what I meant was that judging her age from her teeth is likely to be pretty difficult/inaccurate.  So people may be passing her by because they think she's quite old when she could be but a young thing without the Colgate sparkle.  In fact, I'm off to check my gnashers right now in the hope it could have a rejuvenating effect.
