Snoopy, 7 month old Many Tears working cocker

Just seen this little fella on the Many Tears website, hope its okay to post here.

24-02-08 Snoopy is a 7 month old playful and child friendly working cocker. His owners could no longer keep him so he is here looking for a home. He is busy smart and as long as he has plenty of exercise and is trained well he will make a wonderful pet.

Oh, how weird is that - i was just thinking of offering to foster agaoin, i looked on the MT webpage and there he was! My very first ever foster was a black working cocker called Snoopy - bless him.


Could it be fate??

I've sent my details for fostering, but i think young Snoopy will be snapped up for a forever home very soon.

I wonder if he would get on with my two 5 month old male pups ?   not sure my husband could cope with three ?

Bringing a 7 month old pup to a house with two 5 month old pups would probably not be a good idea, two pups at one time is more than a lot of folk can cope with so three would be... well, you get the picture! I'm pretty definite MT wouldn't allow this, they also don't rehome dogs to homes where existing dogs aren't neutered (as I've found out before when I enquired about a dog some time ago). He is lovely though, I'm sure he won't be waiting for long

I hope you can foster him Mentalcat - he looks a poppet and it would give him a chance to be assessed by a working cocker owner as well

Just a quick update - i'm happy to say that Snoopy is already being homevetted, so he won't be coming to me after all (boo hoo!)

BUT..........

Have a look on the FourPaws website, there's a little springy boy, Rossy, who will be coming to me next week, after his 'little boy' op.
