SWEEP & PUP at Many Tears in South Wales
« on: March 31, 2008, 10:58:34 PM »
SWEEP & PUP

31-03-08 This is Sweep and her one remaining pup. Sweep is an ex breeding 6 year old cocker. All her babies bar this one died and, sadly, I fear this one may also die.  She is a lovely cocker with a fantastic temperament.

PLEASE NOTE:  Ex-breeding are are best homed with another dog as normally they have never lived in a house before and they learn faster with another dog to copy.  This also helps those who have never been walked on a lead.  They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience.

To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue you will be home checked, you and all members of your family and any dogs who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog. If adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. If you are interest in adopting please call the rescue centre between 10am and 4pm on 01269 843084. We are unable to return phone calls so please try again if your call is not answered or email us at sw.vanatta@virgin.net.

It's far to early days to even be thinking about another dog in the family.

Poor doggies!   :'(

I hope the pup survives and they find their forever home soon.
Dogs are natural optimists and believe if they stare hard enough and long enough, the icing on the cake could be theirs.

It makes you want to just drive down there and bring both of them home.  I wish I could.

What a sad life Sweep must have had, hopefully that will soon change.  At least her pup, if, hopefully, it makes it will never know a life like that.

02-04-08 UPDATE on Many Tears site
By subsidising Sweep's milk and leaving her little male pup with her he is still going strong. We are tired out but very hopeful for him.
