Such a shame, but lucky for both they have been rescued. Keep up the good work. I hand reared one of my pups and its such a rewarding feeling when I look at him today, one year on, happy and healthy. Yes its a big job and tiring but well worth it. :D

The bit that upsets me the most is that you know the 'breeder' will have already replaced Sweep with a new bitch who hopefully won't cause him as much work and be more profitable  >:D

It always makes me feel more positive when you see all the comments on this site about choosing reputable breeders, avoiding people like this etc...

I noticed on their site they have a springer x pug ex breeding bitch, no doubt another designer breed  >:D poor things...

11-04-08 FOSTER UPDATE
Just an update on Sweep's little pup to say he has gained weighed.  Today he is 523g and yesterday it was 480g.  He seems to be doing very well and putting on average 40g per day.

it would be better for the mum not to be re-homed with her pup imo - she has done more than enough already and needs to have time to herself without a pup around full time ....

Mary P is it actually you that is fostering Sweep and her pup ?  I wasn't sure.

So glad he is improving and long may it last.  :luv:

How old is he now by the way ?

Sorry for the questions, hope you don't mind.
