she is beautiful, not the right time for us at the moment though.
She will find a home soon.

OMG! She is gorgeous!!!! How on earth has she managed to pass through so many foster homes and still looking for her forever home????  :o I think she would make a perfect friend for Chloe, they sound fairly familiar with regards to their opinion of other dogs!  :005: And their love of cats is so similar as well! I've completed the adoption form but Chloe is due to be spayed in a months time so she'll no doubt be gone before we're allowed to home her  :'( She truly is stunning though!  :luv:

I must add that Phoebe is only in her second foster home since being rescued from a puppy farm - she went straight to foster after her spay and was going to stay forever but sadly the resident dog became very distressed and withdrawn and the decision had to be made to transfer Phoebe to another very experienced fosterer.

she was reserved pending h/c in the 2nd foster home but this fell through - she hasn't been moved on and should stay there until her forever home is found  ;)

An update! I have spoken to the rescue tonight for a good hour, I think she would fit in really well with Chloe! I'm going to speak to my vets tomorrow about getting Chloe spayed sooner and the rescue are going to discuss my situation! So fingers crossed!  :shades:

I don't understand why the spay thing is important when they are both female! ...a male and female I understand and two males but why such a hard rule for re homing with another female..

I was going to ask that too.  We dont have room at the moment but if we move home, I would love to get a rescue girl to keep Purdey company, but would Purdey have to be spayed first?

Rescues have rules around spaying and neuturing for good reasons and whereas I agree ensuring having a bitch spayed when rehoming another bitch doesn't make much sense but at the same time rules are there for a reason  :shades:

Anyway, Chloe is of to the V-E-T tomorrow to discuss when she will be booked in to be spayed so we will see, she came into season on the 17th August so we'll see what the vet recommends  :shades: Thanks for the good wishes everyone!  :luv:
