We are the people being home vetted for this poor girl. We are actually Springer folk but came across this girl when I discovered the Many Tears site for the first time. We have always rescued our Springers but have never seen anuthing like the state of those poor ex-breeding bitches at Many Tears. No one should be allowed to treat dogs the way those disgusting puppy farms do.
Anyway, something in this girl's beautiful face - her proud expression maybe, in spite of it all - made me love her instantly. She also reminds me a little of a wonderful Springie girl we recently lost - I really don't think we will ever have another Springer girl as she was so very special. But a little cocker lady.....now that's a different matter!!
I called about her on Saturday and we were successfully homechecked on Sunday. She is being spayed today and we are collecting her on Saturday morning. I can't wait to get her home to show her that life is about so much more than the horror that she has been through. I think our two Springer boys will be pleased to have a lady around the place again too!
I will post piccies as soon as she comes home - fingers crossed that all is well until then and that her operation went well today. Roll on Saturday!
