Scrumpy at MT: 11-month-old blue roan girl
« on: June 30, 2009, 09:51:04 PM »
Just saw this poor lass  :luv:

SCRUMPY

30-06-09 Scrumpy is a poor sweet 11 month old cocker. She has bad mange but we are treating this. She will be a beautiful dog with time but will need that time to get better. She has also been living in a breeding kennels and so has never lived in a home. She will need another dog as a role model and to be her friend. She has not got the type of mange that is catching so other dogs will be safe.

PLEASE NOTE: Ex-breeding dogs are normally best homed with another dog as they have usually never lived in a house before. They are used to living with other dogs and learn faster with another to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience.

This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. To adopt a dog from Many Tears Animal Rescue please make sure you have read our adoption procedures before applying.  You will be home checked and you and all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the new dog.  All our dogs are micro-chipped, inoculated and spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so.  If you are adopting a puppy you will need to provide details of training classes in your area. We ask for a minimum adoption fee of £150.  If you are interest in adopting please call the rescue centre between 10am and 4pm on 01269 843084. We are unable to return phone calls so please try again if your call is not answered.

Oh bless her. This is awful how she's got in such a condition. We seem to always end up with dogs with skin conditions so this little sweetheart has really caught my attention. Can't see my OH saying yes though  >:(

How's she responding to treatment? Poor girl  :'(

Poor girl, she doesn't look good at all, but I think she'll be gorgeous given time and lots of TLC. :luv:

I will definitely be considering taking on a dog like her once my puppy is old enough to be a good role model.

Poor girl.  :'( :'( She looks so sad and so in need of a loving home.

I can't believe that she is only 3 months older than Gabby - she is still a baby - she looks much much older.

Fingers crossed that she gets a lovely forever home soon.
