Blue Cross, Burford: Sam 13y old black cocker boy

Sensational Sam

Sensational Sam is a 13 year old black Cocker Spaniel who came to us as a transfer from another organisation.

This sweet natured dog is very people focused so although he gets along with other dogs he would prefer to be the only pet in his new home to allow him 100% of his new owner's affections!

Sam has lived with an elderly owner previously and has had little contact with children so his new home would ideally have older children only and dedicated owners willing to commit to the needs of an older, gentle dog.

Sam will gladly repay his new family's kindness with his gorgeous personality and big heart.

Ideally, should not be routinely left for more than 3 hours.
Would be best suited to a home with older children.
Would be best suited to a home with no other pets.
Needs a secure garden with 4 foot fencing.
Friends of Hailey Park
Four Paws Animal Rescue (South Wales)

Cockers are just hooligans in cute clothing!

What a beautiful worker boy :luv:.

He is listed on that link as a crossbred medium mongel though  :'( , (although it does say cocker in the description). It's such a shame that workers are not recognised as such. Even Bellas last owner thought she was a 'mutt' (her words), because she didn't look like her mothers show strain cocker and in spite of having her 5 gen pedigree ::).

I do hope he gets a forever home very soon
