If he's the soft hearted type with a conscience, how about setting the scene with the awful life they have and then how grateful they are, and how good it will make him feel? If he's the practical type, what little bother he will be, which may be stretching things initially. Otherwise you'll just have to plead.

my biggest problem is when i go away for four days in december we have someone to look after Kia but they are looking after my sisters dog too and not sure he can cope with a third as he is 82.  I cant postpone either cos its my daughters wedding.  i wasnt going to start looking until the new year!  But some how this one has really got to me, leave it with me over the weekend and i will ring many tears on monday.

Oh Diane I hope you can persuade your OH, I have just seen that new photo of him by the fridge with his sad cocker eyes. It breaks my heart it really does.
Lucky you being able to take your dogs to work, that was our plan they were to go to work with OH, but our situation unfortunately changed. When are you away in December?

Spent weekend talking and thinking but its just too far to travel its nearly 7 hours each way :(

We do hope Wez finds a forever home soon.

Wez was at my vets for his post op check (which the vet kindly done for free!) and they pointed out that he has cataracts.  Which you can see when you look in his eyes as they are cloudy.  The cataracts are not enough to make him bump into things but obviously any new owners must take this into consideration.
So anyone want a 7 year old black cocker who has a few warts, some teeth removed + cataracts?!!  Bless  :luv: :luv:
He is a lovely dog + his tail wags lots and is starting to have mad cocker moments running around the garden!
Since he always looks sad in his photos here is a little video of the gorgeous boy wagging his tail so you can see he is a happy boy! :D

Wish he could be mine. Give him a huge cuddle from me, I feel gutted.
Its lovely to see him happy though and wagging his tail I just want to hug him. As for the cataracts warts and missing teeth it will all add to his character.
Keep posting pics of him, someone somewhere will be in the right situation to have him.
