Update on Lance:
Lance has now really taken to being an indoor dog, so much so, that I can hardly get him out!
He has stopped sitting and sleeping outside, and now only sleeps in his bed, on the couch or on our bed! He is now housetrained, lets me know when he needs to go out, and sleeps all through the night, and beyond, if I don't wake him up!
Duggie has taught him how to play and he has become very puppy like, he even played with a big puppy in the park yesterday.
He copies Duggie in almost everything, even snuggling up close to my face, but whereas Duggie bites my nose, Lance licks it.
He wants attention and petted all the time, and still suffers from separation anxiety, which is understandable as he has gone from having nothing and nobody, to having a person and a pup with him all the time. I am working on this and he is improving, again thanks to Duggie, as Duggie is the easiest most laid back pup ever, and now that Lance has lost his fear of him, he thinks he is his hero.
Lance will be fine going to a home either with another dog or without, as he would be happy being the only dog getting all the attention.
ETA: It says on his handover form he is used to cats!
