Emma - 8+ year old blind girl at Many Tears
« on: October 27, 2010, 07:14:44 PM »

26-10-10 Emma is a very lovely 8+ year old ex-breeding cocker. She is very sad and looking for someone to love and help her. Emma came to us quite matted so unfortunately has had to be shaved in places but when her fur grows back she will be stunning. This poor girl is blind so is desperate for a very special home with lots of TLC, time and patience. Emma has never lived in a home environment before so this will be strange to her but also because she has no sight needs a home with another gentle but confident dog to help her and where someone will be home with her lots.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home ex-breeding dogs where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company.  They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up.

This dog is at the main rescue centre in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire and is by donation only,

A breeding girl until 8 years old and blind.  I don't know what to say.

I hope she finds the very best forever home that a dog could wish for and hopefully manages to forget her miserable past.

Bless her.

This breaks my heart :'( :'(

Apart from being blind and bred from, just look at her posture in the photos where she's standing, she looks so afraid, and you can see how little muscle tone she has :'(

I hope she finds a wonderful home soon.

Totally sickened as usual.  But someone will turn this girl's life around very soon I'm sure.  I just wish it could be me.

Think how many puppies are out there carrying her genes. Two litters a year for seven years - possibly over 100 pups earning the puppy farmers more than £40,000.  PRA? Probably.  Evil incarnate - definitely.  That poor girl - and those poor puppies and owners that are going to be the future victims of this wickedness. At least for Emma there is some chance of happiness after all the misery.  But I wish to God someone would shoot the people who have done this to her and have let all those pups come into the world to perpetuate the unhappiness.   >:D >:D >:D

Well said annieg.
This is heartbreaking, i only wish i had a large house, no money worries & then i would be able to take in & love these poor dogs that no one has really cared about so far.
I hope someone special comes along real soon and can give her the lovely life she deserves.
