Polka 6 year Old Female at Many Tears

23-08-2012 Polka is a six year old exbreeding Cocker Spaniel. Polka is a dear little lady who is ready to retire from breeding and is looking forward to being a relaxed lady of leisure. Her vision does appear limited though she can certainly see something. She walks on a lead and seems a sweet gentle girl. We were advised that she can be unhappy with other females so we will assess how she does with them here. She would benefit from having another, confident dog around to help her build her confidence.

22-10-12 UPDATE
Polka has settled into family life extremely well. She is a sweet, fun loving little girl who loves a fuss. She enjoys her walks, is fantastic with my children and other dogs. Polka has had a couple of accidents since being here however other than that she is a delight. She does like the company of another small dog to sleep with so a home with a little friend for her would be wonderful. Get your application in soon for this stunningly beautiful girl.

06-11-12 UPDATE
When Polka was spayed we found two small mamory lumps which were removed.  This is something her new owers will have to monitor.  She also has a reoccuring ear infection and again her new owners will have to regularly clean and monitor her ears and ensure that any infection is treated by a vet.  For this reason Polka is by donation.

21-11-2012 UPDATE
Polka continues to do well in her foster home. She doesn't appear to have any problems with her sight. She throughly enjoys her walks and greets everyone with a waggy tail. She is getting on well with the other dogs here, male and female alike. Polka is now 100% housetrained. She is very affectionate and deserves to be someones special girl.

10-12-12 UPDATE
Polka is still waiting patiently for her forever home. She really deserves her own special someone, could that be you? If so you will have the most gentle, loving and loyal dog you could wish for.
