No! but the chemical companies do, providing them with some Flea Enterprise  ph34r

Totally agree with you there and I do think they over exaggerate the risks however there’s a different type of tick appearing here (Germany) now which is bigger and poses a more serious health threat as it can follow its victim at an alarming speed (honestly, I jest not!  ;) ) so I do take more precautions than I used to. We also now have wolves around this area by the way, which are causing political havoc as to whether they can be shot or not, but that’s another story….. :shades:
A doggy owner‘s life is never dull!  Have a lovely weekend everyone!  :luv:

I used to watch Bondi Vet many years ago and the ticks their patients used to get were huge too, maybe they have migrated, via ships etc., from Australia to Germany. ugh  ph34r

Yu have a good weekend too  :luv:

OMG, ticks hunting you down! What a nightmare! I've got a pretty strong stomach, but ticks give me the heebie jeebies. After having one on my back last year for more than 24 hours (didn't feel a thing), I really have a phobia. Attack of the Giant Ticks - now that's a horror film!

Just before Easter we went to Northumberland for a week - all last minute due to my hosptial stuff and we always visit Lindisfarne, Harry and I walked around with a lovely lady who lives on the island and here Golden Retreiver.(hubby went around historical monuments >:D) She mentioned how bad ticks were on the island and even her hubby found one behind his knee and on his throat after walking the dog and that was March.

Her dog was on Bravecto and she joked her Hubby could do with it.

I have decided to go with Nexgard.  But as Harry had spot 2 weeks ago will wait - no point in iver doing it!
