I have no idea how to attach a photo to my post?

Wanted to attach a photo for some advice.
I’ve clicked on ‘+Attachments and other options’ underneath the post and nothing happens.
I only have a iPhone and iPad.
Do you need a proper computer?
I’ve tried to open a photo-bucket account as apparently that’s what your supposed to use? but it’s no longer free (just a free trial).
