Well a quick update.  Sweep is home from her op today and promptly ate her turkey for dinner and is now fast asleep.
Archie I am pleased to say is a different dog 😀😀😀😀😀. He came bounding out of the house to greet me and he dragged his blanket outside and played chase me 👍👍👍 We are wondering if he has been feeling rotten for a while as his energy levels appear to be better than they have been for a while.
Still worrying that it’s nothing sinister when we return to the vet on Monday but for now we are just enjoying having him better  :luv:

Brilliant news, so happy to read this  :D

Agree with you that Archie might have been feeling rough for a while.  When Coco had a dental and lots of teeth out last summer, she was a different dog afterwards.  I think dogs are very stoic and put up with pain and discomfort that we never would.

Glad to hear he is feeling so much more like himself  :luv:

Good luck on Monday   ;)

We have been back for a checkup this afternoon & the vet has given our boy the all clear :cool4: :cool4: :cool4: :cool4: :cool4:
He gave him a quick ultra sound and there is no new fluid - yipeeeeee!  This week Archie has lost 3kg of fluid - poor chap was really poorly.
Anyway thanks for all your good vibes - it really works and let’s hope we don’t have to go through that again.

Sweep is also recovering well and we haven’t had to use the cone of shame!
