I’ve just written on waggytails’ post about B12 deficiency showing similarities to dementia.  The test isn’t on the general blood panel test, and costs more.  But you can supplement it  with capsules , with no side effects or overdosing.
My awful vet said that Marti had arthritis waking her,  and insisted on Metacam.  I disputed this, successfully.
