Have you looked on the KC website to find a breeder near you? You can email them and ask questions and you never know you may find one breeder willing to help you.
I am currently dog free and have gone back to the breeder I got my beloved Fern from - just waiting for them to have another litter and for my name to go up the list (the breeder has a waiting list as long as your arm because they are responsible carry out all checks, also due to breeding for many years has to now go further a field to find a suitable stud to ensure the lines are right)
